Hello! I write this at Schiphol Airport whilst waiting for my return flight home, back to Manchester. I am so tired! Every time I’ve flown this year, I’ve missed my connecting flight, this time by about 1 minute, so I have been here for 4 hours and counting… But, hey, it’s not been so bad; I’ve been given food vouchers and a lump sum of money, so I can’t really complain!
Anyway, the reason I am flying around on Manchester Day (I’m so gutted I missed it!) is because I am moving to Frankfurt at the end of the month! My amazing boyfriend has landed a job at Nintendo, so I am off following him on an exciting new adventure! Don’t worry, I am still making my game and freelancing, though I will be out of action whilst we get settled and sort ourselves out. This means the next few weeks I won’t be updating much, or getting much done game-wise, which is frustrating but just the nature of the beast. I have to rent out my flat, so a lot of my spare time has been dealing with that the last week.
However, I did finish drawing a new scene - the bakery - and have added it into the game (see left).
I’ve been chipping away at code too, as always, and enjoying doing so! Something about code makes me feel really relaxed and in-the-zone. I dunno why, though I kind of wish I’d studied it at university. Oh well, I didn’t know!
Anyway, I’d best dash! After all this waiting we are finally invited to board our plane - hurray! I will be updating again as soon as I can, but that will most likely be from Frankfurt! Auf wiedersehen!
